This is also a good way to playtest new decks, new cards in existing decks, or utilize cards that have been out of your price range. Cockatrice & Xmage are open source platforms which allow you to upload card images and create decks to play games of EDH (or any MTG variant) which are self-regulated as they would be playing in person in paper.All you need to do is set up a webcam and play area, then read the rules and instructions in the stickied post on the linked sub. PlayEDH is a discord server that allows you to arrange games and play paper EDH with your friends or other players in the discord community looking for a game.
As I have not used any of these platforms yet, I hope those in the community that have can help supplement this post with more insightful information, tips, and even options I may have missed. I'm not an expert on the topic as I have never used any online resources to play EDH, but I plan on starting to do so this week and want to make sure the community is aware that they have the ability to do the same from the comfort of their home. Our beloved format is heavily played on paper, and unfortunately due to the increasing severity of the coronavirus situation, meeting up and playing paper magic is becoming unrealistic for many people.
